GreenTree Hotel & Extended Stay I-10 FWY Houston, Channelview, Baytown

We stayed here for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and well-organized, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with strong water pressure and stable hot water. The front desk staff were especially kind and helpful — check-in was quick, and they gave us clear information about breakfast and nearby spots. The hotel offers smoking rooms, but we stayed in a non-smoking room. As non-smokers, we appreciated that the room was completely free of smoke smell — the air was fresh and there were no unpleasant odors or humidity issues. Everything was in good condition and comfortable. We saw some very negative reviews online before booking, mentioning dirtiness, bad smells, or even suspicious people. But we didn’t experience any of that at all. The room was clean, the surroundings were quiet, and we felt safe the entire time. Considering the price, this hotel is a great value. If you're looking for a simple, clean, and comfortable place to stay, I’d definitely recommend it. I’d be happy to come back for another visit.

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, and most of the staff is very helpful and friendly. I also like that it has a bar with food served, although the karaoke that's listed leaves much to be desired.

There was a super friendly girl at the reception. The room is comfortable, clean, not very modern, but the quality corresponds to the low cost. There is an outdoor pool from 10 to 22. Sleeping is comfortable. Breakfast is normal: there are meat sausages (very fatty), porridge, omelet, waffles, toast. At breakfast, a nice manager came up and was interested in our stay.

Great stay in a clean, spacious suite at a location that gets you an easy drive to downtown and to Galveston. Loved taking advantage of the amenities -- quiet, well-equipped gym, lovely courtyard pool, and a bar for easy, well-priced food and evening music! Breakfast was a plus + Maricela running the breakfast is the sweetest lady! Reception was also so helpful with luggage and questions -- we'll be back next time we're in town!

I wasn't too sure about staying here because of the previous establishment, but with last-minute booking and trying to stay in budget, this hotel was just what we needed. We were immediately greeted upon arrival by the owner, Mr Mike. He was so friendly and just excited about having us. The pricing was great, and after checking in and seeing the room, it put my mind at ease. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a huge bar inside where you can relax and order finger foods from the restaurant. The hot breakfast had a variety of items. My overall stay was great, and I would recommend to anyone needing a budget friendly place where they are welcome and comfortable.
